Hi, my name is Janka, and I can be your English teacher!
Together, we will try different learning methods - to figure out what is best for you. My classes are taught 100% in English, but you don't have to worry - I will adjust to your speed and gladly repeat any topic or exercise. I also have a rule that no question is stupid.

I offer English classes, conversations in Slovak, and a micro-course on presentation skills micro-course in English. It is normal to feel shy when using a foreign language or while presenting in public - but I believe that together we can overcome that! :-)

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The first shorter lecture - "get to know each other" - is for free (approx. 30 min). It is a friendly chat about your expectations, what would you like to improve, your previous experiences etc.
Based on that, we will decide if we want to continue.
The following lectures are standardized 60 min long and held online.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE
My experience:
I have a degree in International Business, where I completed 1/3 of the compulsory curriculum in English. Additionally, I took several voluntary courses - including advanced English class.
I have a C1 TOEFL Certificate.
Before that, I spend a gap year working in Great Britan, where I communicated in English daily. And as I lived in a shared accommodation with three native speakers from Australia, it wasn't limited to my professional life.

PRESENTATION SKILLS
Practical micro-course (1 - 5 lectures based on your needs)
Work with PowerPoint - tips and tricks to create engaging and beautiful presentations fast. (effects, design templates - adjusting master slides, adding graphics, text division),
Public speaking - how to engage audience, sound natural, online and offline format.

My experience:
I have diverse experiences from my studies, as well as from work for a non-profit organization.
Additionally, I completed a presentation skills course during my studies.

SLOVAK LANGUAGE - CONVERSATIONS
Slovak is my native language, and I will gladly offer conversations and insight into the culture.
