Hi!
My name is Barbora, and I have been tutoring English and Czech for about six years now. My main goal in any lesson is to motivate my students and create a stress-free environment, even when Abitur or any other exam is around the corner. :)
I have experience teaching adults who are seeking to improve their language skills for professional or personal reasons, students who need help with school work, or students who are preparing for a language certificate or Abitur exam. With younger children, I focus on creating fun lessons that will get them excited about learning the language.

Mein Name ist Barbora, und ich unterrichte seit etwa sechs Jahren Englisch und Tschechisch. Mein Hauptziel in jeder Unterrichtsstunde ist es, meine Schüler zu motivieren und eine stressfreie Lernatmosphäre zu schaffen – selbst dann, wenn das Abitur oder eine andere Prüfung kurz bevorsteht. :)
Ich habe Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Erwachsenen, die ihre Sprachkenntnisse aus beruflichen oder privaten Gründen verbessern möchten, von Schülern, die Unterstützung bei ihren Schularbeiten brauchen, sowie von Lernenden, die sich auf ein Sprachzertifikat oder das Abitur vorbereiten.
Mit jüngeren Kindern gestalte ich den Unterricht spielerisch und abwechslungsreich, damit sie Freude am Sprachenlernen entwickeln.

Trial lesson
The free trial lesson will give you an idea of how lessons with me work, and then you can decide whether to continue. Please let me know your language level and something about your goals in advance, so I can prepare the lesson as I normally would, and you can have an authentic experience.
Standard lesson
You can bring your own materials and tell me exactly what you want to do, or I can prepare activities and materials that align with your goals. In conversation lessons, I will make sure that we always have something to talk about, but it does make it easier if you tell me about your interests first—that way, I can tailor the lesson to you.
Conversation for beginners
This alternative is for beginners and all those who prefer shorter lessons. The duration of the lesson can be changed to fit your needs. Shorter lessons are also often a great starting point- try out how you feel after 20 or 30 minutes, and we'll plan our next lesson based on that. :)
