Hi, my name is Laura Martinez and I am a 25 year old teacher from Montevideo, Uruguay. In January 2019 I decided to move to Berlin and have been living here since, mainly as an english and spanish freelance teacher. I have plenty of experience in teaching English and Spanish, being the last my native tongue.
Teaching is something I love, especially languages, they connect us in a way nothing else does. Being able to speak the language of a friend, neighbour or coworker simply makes us closer to each other. And being a traveller myself, embarking to the adventure of speaking, even as a beginner, the language of the land you are visiting makes the experience much more fullfilling. Online teaching has also a special appeal to me, I believe that wherever you are, you deserve to have the time and space to learn and teach. Especially in these days, when we have to limit physical proximity, online connections need to be strengthened.
